The Invisible
Man Invisible. That's how Jerome
describes what it's like to be a homeless person living
on the street. And he knows, because he's been there.

PROMapalooza is a
Hit! GeneratioNEXT,
United Way of Greater Cleveland's young professionals
group, partied in style at PROMapalooza, their first
gala fundraising event. Over 200 GeneratioNEXT members
turned out for the evening at The Ritz-Carlton's elegant
Silver Grille downtown on April 12. The trés chic event
featured music by rock band Punch the Clown, a silent
auction and fabulous food. Over $40,000 was raised to
benefit the 2008 United Way of Greater Cleveland
Campaign. Who was there? Peruse our prom pictures and see.
Volunteers Haul Mulch, Dodge
Gators This spring, four young Clevelanders asked
what they could do for their country. Find out what they
did and how you can join them next year. More

Setting the Record
Straight We'd
like to take a moment to note that United Black Fund of
Greater Cleveland and The Empowerment
Center of Greater Cleveland were mistakenly omitted
from our Pacesetter list in the 2007-2008 Report to
the Community. We proudly and gratefully recognize
these and all of the Pacesetter
organizations for their support of our 2007
Campaign.
