WHY: Actor James Belushi, star of ABC sitcom "According to Jim," heard about Cleveland's public art project for charity, GuitarMania, from friends at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum but missed the deadline to get in on the November auction action. Undaunted and wanting to be part of GuitarMania, Belushi worked with the Rock Hall and United Way, arranging for a 10 ft. fiber glass guitar model to be shipped to him in Los Angeles, California. Belushi explained the concept he wanted to his cousin, James Demas, who developed the Belushi guitar that features a large silhouette of a Blues Brother, complete with top hat and cigarette. The guitar arrived in Cleveland this week.
