HIT ONE OUT OF THE PARK FOR UNITED WAY OF GREATER CLEVELAND
It's not too late to purchase discounted tickets for United Way Day at the Jake July 4th
(Cleveland, Ohio) June 27, 2005
The Cleveland Indians are giving back to Cleveland in more ways than one. Not only are they energizing the city with their winning games,
but they are also giving back to their hometown by donating a portion of the proceeds from the July 4th afternoon and evening game ticket
sales to United Way of Greater Cleveland and offering the tickets at a discount.
Discounted tickets to the July 4th games are available via a mail in form at www.uws.org,
or a form can be sent by calling 216-436-2123. The discounts and the donation are only available for tickets bought through the flyer/web promotion.
Remember, ticket orders must be received 72 hours before the game.
Features of the July 4th promotion are:
- Discounted tickets: Lower reserve seats, which are normally $20, reduced to $13. Upper box seats are discounted from $18 to $11.
Upper reserved seats, normally $10, discounted to $7. Tickets are available for both the 1:05 and 7:05 pm games (separate tickets needed for each game).
- Fireworks after the 7:05 game. The All-American tradition! No blanket or lawn chair required!
- Dollar hot dogs for both games. What is better than a ball park hot dog with all the fixins'? No charcoal or cleanup either!
- A portion of all proceeds for tickets ordered through United Way goes to the United Way campaign.
Encourage your readers to attend these games for all these great reasons. This is an outstanding way to get a great deal on a game,
have a wonderful time with family and friends, show your support for the Cleveland Indians and help United Way, all at the same time.
