Cleveland Browns Team up with KeyCorp at United Way's Day of Caring Tuesday, October 18

      September 29, 2005 (Cleveland, Ohio)
For the last seven years, the Cleveland Browns organization has been participating in United Way of Greater Cleveland's "Days of Caring." This year the Browns, along with employees of KeyCorp and members of the United Way board will build two Little Tikes™ play structures at the Murtis H. Taylor Multi-Service Center at 13422 Kinsman Road in Cleveland on October 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Hometown Huddle is the national NFL United Way Day of Caring. At Murtis H. Taylor, the Browns players and staff will help build the play structures, one for pre-school age children and a second larger structure for older kids, including an Infinity Climber.

Days of Caring are days where companies who run United Way campaigns spend the day helping United Way's non-profit community partners complete much needed projects, giving volunteers the opportunity to work at one of more than 130 sites. Volunteers see firsthand how their United Way contributions impact the community and experience the rewards of giving their time and talent to those in need.

Murtis H. Taylor is a non-profit neighborhood center that is a focal point for the mental and physical well being of citizens of all ages in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood of Cleveland.

United Way of Greater Cleveland is one of the largest private funders of health and human services in Greater Cleveland. United Way is the leading convener and funder of partnerships focused on solutions for the Greater Cleveland community's health and human services needs.
