United Way's 3rd Annual Sports Auction
October 20, 2005 (Cleveland, Ohio)
The Browns, Indians, Cavaliers and Barons might all play different games, but there is one game and one team they all play on together: United Way of Greater Cleveland. The winning goal: making the 2005 United Way of Greater Cleveland Campaign a success. In order to make that happen, these pro-sports teams have made some incredible donations to the 3rd Annual United Way Sports Auction taking place on line starting October 20 and live all day on WTAM 1100 on Tuesday, November 1.
Want to be part of the team? Then bid high and often on incredible, unique sporting events and memorabilia. For example: Have one of the Cleveland Barons come to your child's hockey practice. Perhaps you and a loved one are pro-baseball fans… have a romantic, candlelit dinner on home plate. Want to see the sold-out Masters Golf Tournament at Augusta National Golf Course? We have a pair of tickets to that, along with two airline tickets to get you there. Maybe you have always wanted to be the "6th Man" at a Cavaliers game… that will be for sale as well. Also available are a pair of pre-game field passes and two game tickets to the Browns-Steelers game. All this and more will be sold to the highest bidder and all proceeds go to benefit the 2005 United Way of Greater Cleveland Campaign. Starting bids range from $25 to $10,000. A complete list of over 100 auction items is available at wtam.com/auction.
