Browns Celebrities Hit the Links in Annual Fundraising Event August 27, 2007 (Cleveland, Ohio) Cleveland Browns celebrities will team up with United Way supporters at United Way of Greater Cleveland's 10th Anniversary Celebrity Golf Tournament on Tuesday, September 18, at Hemlock Springs Golf Club in Geneva, Ohio. The tournament, presented by the Cleveland Browns and Continental Airlines and hosted by Hemlock Springs Golf Club, gives major support to United Way's nearly 180 programs provided by more than 130 partner agencies. The tournament starts with breakfast at 8 a.m., followed by a celebrity long drive contest and 18 holes of golf for fivesomes that include a Browns celebrity. Hemlock Springs Golf Club, which has donated the use of its links for this event since 1998, is a championship-layout golf course and past host to the U.S. Amateur Qualifier. The day concludes with dinner plus silent and live auctions at Ferrante Winery and Ristorante in Geneva.
