United Way of Greater Cleveland Meets Annual Requirements of United Way of AmericaUnited Way of Greater Cleveland successfully completed United Way of America's annual membership requirements, which includes, among other criteria, a report on membership investment, a survey on the extent of the community's resource development efforts during the year, a report of the organization's annual income and expenses, and a mandatory organizational self-assessment. These submissions must be certified every year in order for United Way of Greater Cleveland to remain a member of United Way. This ensures that high standards of accountability are maintained and is part of the process to confirm that our operations are transparent and meet or exceed United Way membership requirements. United Way of Greater Cleveland is part of a system of 1,286 United Ways across the nation. Each local United Way must complete United Way of America's requirements annually in order to retain its membership with the national organization. |
